Delete your account.

You can do it yourself in the app in under a minute. No app any more? Ask us and we'll do it for you.

In the app

  1. Open LyveLyfe and tap You.
  2. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
  3. Read what will be deleted, then confirm. That's it.

Without the app

Email us from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll confirm it's you, then delete everything within 30 days, and tell you when it's done.

Write the email

What gets deleted

  • Your account: email address, name and username.
  • Every photo, video, story and comment you added, including those in other people's books.
  • Your hearts, tasks and invitations.
  • Books you host, with everything in them, for everyone in them. If you'd like a book to live on, ask someone else to start a new one and add the photos before you go.

It happens straight away on our live systems; stored files are cleaned up shortly after, and backup copies are overwritten within 30 days. We keep nothing else, unless the law requires us to keep a specific record.

Only want to remove some things?

You don't have to delete your account. In the app you can delete a single photo (open it, tap the bin), delete a book you host (Edit → Cover → Delete), leave a book someone else hosts (People → Leave), or clear your tasks.
