Terms of use
Be kind with other people's memories.
Last updated 22 October 2026. The short version is below; the full terms follow.
The short version
- Your photos and stories stay yours. You let us store them and show them to the people in your books, so the app can work.
- Only add what you have the right to share, and think about the people in your photos.
- No harassment, nothing illegal, no spam. We can remove content or accounts that break this.
- Hosts look after their books: they decide who's in, and can remove photos and people.
- Keep your own copies. We work hard to keep LyveLyfe running, but we can't promise it will never fail.
- You can stop any time and delete your account.
The full terms
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and LyveLyfe (“we”, “us”). By using the LyveLyfe app or website you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
2. Who can use LyveLyfe
You must be at least 13, or the age of digital consent where you live, and able to agree to these terms. You're responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email address safe, since that is how you sign in.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, stories and comments you add. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, copy, resize and display them, only to run LyveLyfe for you and the people you share with. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backup copies that are overwritten within 30 days.
You confirm you have the right to share what you add, and that doing so doesn't break anyone else's rights or the law.
4. Books, hosts and members
The person who starts a book is its host. Hosts can invite and remove people, choose roles, remove photos and comments, finish a book, and delete it. Deleting a book deletes everything in it for everyone. Contributors can add photos and stories; viewers can look, heart and comment.
5. What's not allowed
- Anything illegal, including content that sexualises or endangers children.
- Harassment, threats, hate, or sharing private images of someone without their consent.
- Content you don't have the rights to.
- Spam, scraping, trying to access books or accounts that aren't yours, or interfering with the service.
If you see something that breaks these rules, tell us at . We may remove content or suspend accounts that break them, and report illegal content to the authorities.
6. The service
LyveLyfe is free to use today. If we add paid features, such as printed books, we'll show the price clearly before you pay. We may change, add or remove features. We provide LyveLyfe “as is” and, as far as the law allows, without warranties. Please keep your own copies of anything important.
7. Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or unexpected losses, or for loss of data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which may be nothing). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
8. Ending
You can stop using LyveLyfe and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
9. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect. If you keep using LyveLyfe afterwards, the new terms apply.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of , without taking away protections you have under the laws of the country where you live.
